Great interest to MagiCAD at the seminar in Beijing
On 18 March 2009, Progman Beijing Rep Office (PBRO) conducted a seminar with the theme of ‘MagiCAD and its application in the HVAC Industry’. The seminar was organised by the ‘Indoor Environment & HVAC (Beijing) Association’ as a part of an academic conference hosted by the association.
PBRO’s representative, Mr Yang You, introduced MagiCAD to nearly 100 HVAC engineers from a broad range of consulting companies, construction firms and design institutes. MagiCAD’s unique design concept and powerful functions, such as its speed of drawing, smart calculations, 3D modelling and high compatibility with other BIM programs made a marked impression on the participants.
The concept and implementation of BIM design in the HVAC industry was also presented by Mr Yang You. MagiCAD’s capacity for BIM design of HVAC and Building Services was much appreciated by the audience.
Many companies showed great interest in MagiCAD and many follow-up visits were booked.
PBRO has planned a series of MagiCAD promotional activities throughout the year. The plan is to inform more and more Chinese building services engineers about MagiCAD and for them to start using the program.
